Valai - Tamil Open source community

Valai (Web) connects the all tamil enthusiasts and form a community to take Tamil computing to a next generation. The goal of the project is to form a single open source community like Apache

Valai was launched during Tamil Internet Conference 2002, held at Foster City, California.
Projects identified and currently taken by Valai are:

  • Tamil Search Engine
  • Tamil Linux distribution
  • Tamil Mail client
